Extra Summer Walks Programme

It may seem a long way off but we will soon need to start compiling our extra summer walks schedule. Naturally we want to devise as varied and interesting a programme as possible. So if you can offer a walk whether it is long or short, near or far, in the evening or during the day we will be delighted to hear from you. Family walks, themed walks, ‘away-days’, jointly-led walks and public transport walks are all very welcome. (And if followed by a tea shop visit or pub stop, all the better.)  Please contact David Court asap. Contact details above.

George Barker

George led a number of walks for the Beverley Group in the last few years having been a stalwart of the Hull and Holderness group for many years. Tragically he died recently whilst walking in Suffolk. All of us who knew George warmed to his kindness and humour. He will be greatly missed.  Sincere condolences to Janice and family.
