Ryedale Group
The Ryedale Group presents a full programme of circular walks
of varying lengths throughout the year, mainly in and
around the North York Moors National Park. In addition there is normally
a linear walk in stages over the course of each year involving linking
coach travel, (e.g. The Cleveland Way). In June of each year a
full-day coach ramble is arranged outside Ryedale's normal area.

Navigation Training
Our first navigation training has now taken place, and another is
arranged for June
2010, which is now fully subscribed. More courses will be organised as
required.
So if you're a leader or would like to lead for Ryedale in the future, and
want to
improve your navigation skills, please get in touch with us at
ra.ryedale@btinternet.com or phone 01751 477325. If any other
group is interested
in putting on this training for their members and would like some help,
please
contact us.
Email List
Many of you have signed up for this additional form of
communication which allows us to quickly and efficiently keep you informed.
The Ramblers is facing a difficult time financially and one way to save
money is to communicate electronically where possible. A large amount of
volunteer time and postage money is spent distributing information which
could easily be done by email. So if you have not already signed up then
please send an email to
ra.ryedale@btinternet.com We will only send what we think is
important or worthwhile, we will not reveal your email address to any third
party, and your email address will be hidden on any communication from us.
