Scarborough Group
This group has about 150 members and a wonderful variety of walking.
Apart from the splendid coastline, lovely inland areas include the more
wooded south-eastern part of the North York Moors National Park, the Vale of
Pickering and the northern Yorkshire Wolds. Walks take place on most
Sundays of the year, also Thursday mornings and there are mid-week evening walks in the summer. 
Social events include
regular meals out and theatre trips, and group holidays are
also organised. Committee members are listed below.
Kettlewell Weekend September 11th -12th
Dear All, It is with regret that I have to cancel the weekend
away to Kettlewell on Sat & Sun Sept 11&12 due to the lack of participants.
Thanks to those who did show interests but the numbers dropped so much it
wasn't worth going on with it. Which was sad as last year's weekend was such
a success but times and circumstances change so quickly these days so
organising can be a nightmare of a job sometimes. Never mind, the walks and
hills don't change that much so we will have to try another time. Instead I
will do a walk/ lead on Sunday the 12th of Sept instead. Les A.
