York Group

Our largest group, with almost 800 members.  York Group walks take place mainly on Sundays and Wednesdays.  There is a programme of very popular weekly  Wednesday Ambles, shorter walks of around 7 or 8 miles.   In addition to these, a programme of walks using public transport has also been arranged (see York Group website for details).

Footpath Work
Members of the York group go out regularly to do practical footpath work.  If you are interested in volunteering for this or if you would be interested in organising a social activity for the group, please contact the group secretary.
