April Camping Weekend 2010
Please note that Ray Wallis has had to alter the date of the next camping weekend to 16th - 18th April. This is a week earlier than stated in the walks programme.

An Evening with Alfred Wainwright  Presented by John Burland

Journey back in time with John Burland of the Wainwright Society, to meet Alfred Wainwright, famous Lakeland Guidebook writer and creator of the Coast to Coast walk. Discover Alfred’s upbringing in Blackburn, his life changing experience in 1930 when he visited the Lake District for the first time, and his 13 year "labour of love" – seven guidebooks covering 214 fells.
