How can you support the RA and its aims?The Ramblers' Association is Britain's biggest charity working to promote walking and to improve conditions for all walkers. With almost 140,000 members in England, Scotland and Wales, it has been working for walkers for 70 years. The Association has offices in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff with paid staff, but otherwise relies on teams of local volunteers to support its work: promoting walking as a healthy activity, safeguarding the footpath network, protecting the countryside, providing information and increasing access for walkers.
