East Yorkshire and Derwent Area Ramblers

walking to protect our local countryside

A coastal path walk with refreshing breezes is a pleasure after recent scorching hot days. This was reflected by 30 members arriving for this 10 mile led by Barry Clark.

Leading off along the cliff top path in a south easterly direction to reach Flamborough Head, the group headed south westerly along the Headland Way to South Landing and onwards to Danes Dyke for a lunch stop at the Visitor Centre.

Resuming, it was field edge paths to Flamborough Village, leaving North Marine Drive to go through Thornwick Farm Holiday Centre and reach the headland.

Lastly a walk back along the cliff top path to North Landing.
