'An 11 mile walk was added to the Pocklington walks programme at short notice. Twenty members responded to the opportunity to walk on the North Yorkshire Moors from the Hole of Horcum, on what turned out to be a beautiful spring like day.
Martin Hill led the group along the Old Wife's Way to Staindale Lake, and then up to Crosscliffe viewing point for a lunch stop. After lunch, the route taken was across Thompson's Rigg to ascend Blakey Topping, before returning to the start point via Malo Cross. Thanks to Keith Dalby and Vivienne Taylor for additional photos'.
