East Yorkshire and Derwent Area Ramblers

It really was a walk of two halves for the 7 walkers who braved the Arctic conditions on this walk led by Jane Preston.

Starting from Cowhouse Bank, there was driving sleet and strong winds in the morning, with up to 3 inches of snow underfoot in some places.

In the afternoon it was all change as the sun came out, the sky turned blue, and the lambs stopped shivering.

Despite the weather, it was a great walk enjoyed by all.
